Built by a contractor. For contractors.
We built Cubitworks because the software we needed didn't exist at a price that made sense for a growing construction company.
The problem we solved for ourselves
Running a construction company means juggling CRM, budgeting, scheduling, field ops, purchasing, and customer management simultaneously. Most platforms do some of this well and the rest poorly. The ones that do it all charge per seat, per feature, and per module — fees that compound fast as your team grows.
We were paying those fees at Tessera Construction. We had our workflows mapped. We knew exactly what we needed. So we built it.
What Cubitworks is
Cubitworks is a full construction management platform built to run on Cloudflare's global edge network. Your data lives in your own Postgres database. Your files live in your own R2 bucket. No third party has read access to your job costs, GP%, or customer records.
We designed it to cover the full lifecycle from first lead to final warranty — 37 modules, all included in every plan. There is no premium tier unlocking features you should have had from day one.
Who it's for
Cubitworks is for residential and light commercial contractors who are done paying per-seat SaaS fees and want a platform they can rely on long-term. If you're managing 5 to 250 active jobs and want full financial visibility from budget to final invoice, Cubitworks is built for your scale.
How we think about this product
Every decision in Cubitworks comes back to one question: does this make the contractor's job easier without adding hidden cost or complexity?
That means:
- Flat-rate pricing. You know what you'll pay. No surprises as you add users or jobs.
- Full feature depth at every tier. The Starter plan is not a stripped-down trial mode — it is the full product with sensible limits for a smaller shop.
- Data sovereignty. Your financial and job data belongs to you. We built the export tools before the import tools.
- Mobile-first field ops. Field crew on iPhone Safari get a first-class experience for daily logs, photos, and task updates — not an afterthought.
- Honest documentation. The feature list is what the software actually does — not what a roadmap promises.
Technology
Cubitworks runs on Cloudflare Workers (API) and Cloudflare Pages (app and this marketing site). Data is stored in Neon Postgres with Row-Level Security enforcing multi-tenant isolation at the database layer — not just at the application layer. Files live in Cloudflare R2. Payments are handled by Stripe.
We chose this stack because it gives us near-zero marginal cost per job at our target scale, global edge distribution without DevOps overhead, and no vendor lock-in to proprietary managed services.
